For new builds, if your property has limited access between the side yard setback and the planned location of your house, it’s important to think ahead. If you’ll need heavy machinery in the backyard for things like retaining walls, a pool, or other large features, make sure to complete that work before construction on the house begins. Once the house is built, getting equipment in and out could become a costly or even not possible.
