5 Programs We Use To Make Our
Life & Home Project Easier

1. Pinterest

Pinterest is the leading tool used to translate what clients visually want without having to explain it with construction jargon. We use it for 99% of our projects. Create boards, sections, notes, and so much more so your design (and build) team can get a sense of your style and ensure your vision aligns with theirs.

2. Rise

Not only is the Rise website full of information on sustainable building practices, products, and professionals, but it also has a dedicated list of product they've tried and tested. Making the search (and maybe your decision-making) a little easier.

3. Consumer Report

Should you get that dishwasher or will it break in a year? Enter Consumer Reports. They test every product that will go into your home so you don’t have to. Find out where they rank on durability, energy use, predicted reliability, functionality, and the price! Become a member or pick up one of their magazines for your home project.

4. Houzz

While we may only use Houzz for 1% of our projects, it’s starting to pick up steam. Because Pinterest has all the distractions and ads, it’s nice to use a program that is only home inspiration. Even better, Houzz has links to furnishings and finishings. See a picture of a beautiful sconce - add to cart!

5. Homeowner HQ

You know we had to include this one! Homeowner HQ is the online network every homeowner undertaking a new home or large renovation project should be a part of. Stop Googling your home project. This is better. Through our network of homeowners, proven frameworks and high-value development programs, you’ll have everything you need to make this experience a great one.

A new home or renovation project is no small feat, but thank goodness for programs that exist to make all our lives easier! With so many different aspects of your design and build project, to stay on top of it all it’s important to have some go-to tools in your toolbox to help you out (pun intended) 😉
