I've heard this many times. Yes, the Contractor should have asked this question weeks ago, but it doesn't always work out that way. There is a lot going on during the build and even more so when you have 101 questions thrown at you. Making decisions during the build (and generally last minute) can really add up and put a lot of stress on the homeowners, the project, and the overall results. This challenge has been set up to get you ahead of the game, easily remove the bulk of the stress during the build and actually enjoy the process, both inside the challenge and during the build!

When to start:

After you’ve designed your home → framing (and anywhere in between).

Who to talk to during this challenge:

Your Contractor, Architect/ural Designer and Interior Designer. Check in often on the budget and their area of expertise.

What to do:

Set aside 30-60 minutes for the next 21 days to accomplish an item a day. Some days you may need more or less time and some you may not need to have the answers to. For example if your house is a rancher and doesn't require any railings then you can relax or jump ahead. 

And if you're ever stuck, be sure to ask questions here.

Timeline:

Go at your own pace or join us each day for 21 days and make your decision that day. 

Either way, at the end of the 21 days you'll have a list of partial, narrowed down or completed decisions that you can turn to when your contractor needs an answer asap! You've got this!
