For completing your Building Permit, you will need a few of the following:
Building Permit application form
Land survey
Construction plans; 2-3 printed copies of each
(you will get back 1 copy for the permit copy)Architectural plans
Structural plans
Title of Certificate (identifies the owner(s) of the property)
(Google 'land title certificate + your province/state')
Note: Generally required to be no older than 30 days.Geotechnical report
Letters of Assurance (from co-ordinating Registered Professionals)

Drainage plan
Building Envelope
Environmental Reports
Step Code Energy report
Demolition plan
Mechanical plan
Plumbing plan
Fire Suppression plan (sprinklers)
Electrical plan
Variance approval
Driveway access permit
