Lastly, E is for Exteriors are equally important.

Throughout The Concrete Method, we’ve focused on bringing your vision to life inside your home—creating a space that reflects your personality and lifestyle. But your home experience doesn’t end at the walls.

What about the outside?

Your home’s exterior is just as important as the interior. It sets the first impression, enhances curb appeal, and creates outdoor spaces that feel like a natural extension of your home.

It’s incredible what landscaping can do. A well-designed outdoor space doesn’t just look good—it transforms how you experience your home.

But what about the maintenance?

Not everything has to be flowers, grass, and endless weeding. There are low-maintenance ways to create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces:
🌿 Replace flowers with ferns or native plants.
🌾 Reduce grass and add wildflowers, bark mulch, or crushed rock.
🪨 Incorporate boulders and hardscaping for structure and visual interest.

And what about outdoor living spaces?

Think about how you want to use your outdoor space:
🔥 A fire pit for cozy nights?
🍽️ An outdoor kitchen for summer gatherings?
🏊 A hot tub or pool for relaxation?
☀️ A patio or deck—covered or uncovered—for year-round use?

Now Take Action

📖 Go to page 22 in your workbook. Write down your landscape goals and outdoor living space features.

📝 If you’re feeling creative, use the grid paper to sketch a rough layout of your landscape plan.

Your exterior is the final piece that lets you enjoy every square foot of what you’ve created—inside and out. Let’s make sure it’s just as intentional as the rest of your home.
