T is for Tailor your interiors to you.

Interior design is so much more than picking paint colors, flooring, tile, and cabinets. It’s about the details—interior trim, millwork design, railings, hardware, materials—all coming together to create the comfort you live in every day.

If you’re working with an Architect, they may design certain elements like built-in cabinetry, but interior design often falls on a separate Interior Designer or—if you’re handling it yourself—on you.

Yes, there are “rules,” but that’s the easy part.

✔️ Kitchen island pendants are typically hung 30-32” above the countertop.
✔️ Standard hallway widths are at least 36” for comfort and accessibility.

These guidelines help, but they cannot finish a home.

Too often, I see homes that look like they were pulled straight from Pinterest—stark, lifeless, and lacking personality. They feel like copies rather than homes with warmth and character.

So how do you make your home feel like you?

It’s not just about bold colors. Your home’s personality can be:
Warm and complex – Layered textures and rich, neutral tones.
🌑 Dark and moody – A sophisticated balance of depth and contrast.
🌍 Globally inspired – A mix of cultural influences and travel inspirations.

Your materials, interior details, lighting, and furnishings should reflect who you are.
