Day 12

Day 12

Day 12

Interior Lighting

If you haven’t created a reflective ceiling plan (RCP) with your Architect/ural Designer or Interior Designer, it’s not necessary but I do highly recommend it. This will be an extensive layout of the potlights, indirect and direct lighting, plugs, telephone jacks, fans, etc.

While it’s not required for most home project / building permits, interior lighting is pertinent to the way we live. At the very least I recommend you walking through your home, at the framing stage, and discuss the options and layout with your Interior Designer and/or Electrician. Without a plan though, there is a possibility that things might be misunderstood or missed.

This week get in touch with your team and put a plan in place; either schedule a meeting to layout an RCP or walk-through your framing. Then peruse your Houzz or Pinterest for some inspiration and visit your local lighting store in-person or online to start pulling some lights and prices together.
