This morning I was thinking about TWO pivotal questions that changed my life and my view on our new home project since starting our own personal new home design and build a couple of years ago (and I believe they will change your life, too).

We got into a routine of asking ourselves whenever there was resistance in spending money, and then eventually with every purchase.

Ask yourself:

  1. What about this product or service do I find valuable? Does that match the price?

  2. What does it need to be valuable?

It might sound simple, but whenever I need a little clarity around who to hire or which product to choose, I can almost always find my answer by asking myself those two questions.

I’ve seen clients make decisions based on fear, urgency, exhaustion, or lack of product or service.

But if I’m being honest, I found myself in the exact same position...

That is, until I realized that the value is in the eye of the beholder. One person's outrage at a price is another person's relief. But it’s all about getting to the root of the value. ✨

And I want that for you too.

In Homeowner HQ™, we breakdown your quotes in our bi-weekly calls  to help you understand what it is exactly that you’re getting from this service and find out if someone else has purchased that product and what value have they gotten from it.

There were far too many times in my own home project that could have set me on the path of questioning the cost of every little thing, and I know that at least one person reading this woke up today wanting to stop worrying or questioning the price of a product or service that they need to get.

If that person is YOU, I want you to determine what you find valuable about that product or service and then answer this question: what would it need to be valuable to you?
